I can search an area of about a 1 to 2 mile radius within 3 hours.

If I find your pet, I will give you the exact GPS coordinates from the laser rangefinder on the drone, and guide you to them for a rescue.
Pet Drone Search Pricing
Each search receives a custom quote based on travel distance, terrain, property size, weather, urgency, and the time required. I’ll confirm the quote before heading out.

Every search includes at least three hours of dedicated flight operations. If I locate your pet, an additional $250 success fee applies.

If I don’t find your pet and you later receive a confirmed sighting, I’ll search again for free locally. For a nonlocal return search, only drive fees apply.

When can you fly?
I can search day or night, however during the summer searches are best starting one hour before sun-down or ending one hour after sun-up. Cloudy summer days can be ok for searches. Winter searches have a higher success rate than summer searches in general.
Light rain is ok, but I cannot fly in heavy rain.
What animals can you locate?
We can find any animal - including dogs, cats, and livestock. Yes, even birds!
Cat searches should be performed when it is dark, since that's when they are most active.
What does the client need to do?
Clients should be on site during the search. You will be able to watch everything on your own personal monitor. When we have a sighting it will be your job to secure your pet while I guide you over the phone. My drone will be watching the entire time.
Things to have on hand during the process - pet food, ’shakeable’ treats, phone with Google Maps, earbuds are preferred, flashlight, squeeze toy, proper clothes/shoes for retrieving your pet.
How does payment work?
Payment can be made on site by cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
What are the odds of success?
A thermal drone can help locate a lost pet, but finding and safely recovering an animal are different steps. Results depend on recent sightings, time missing, terrain, tree cover, weather, and the pet’s behavior. Thermal cameras detect heat; they cannot see through solid objects or dense foliage. Call me to discuss whether a drone search is a good fit for your situation.
